extending the seat
to clear the
vehicle door header.

ailure of the seat passenger to lower
his or her head during the extending
cycle could result in the passenger's
head being trapped between the door
header and the seat as well as simply
contacting (bumping) the door header
with his or her head.

ailure of the seat passenger to lower his or her
head during the retracting cycle could result in the
passenger's head contacting (bumping) the door
header or the passenger possibly being knocked
out of the seat.

ote:
It is not necessary for passengers whose
head clears the door header when sitting straight up
to lower their head during the extending and retract-
ing cycles.
