Brewer stops
The FreshOne makes fresh coffee following the
vacuum principle. Measures of ground coffee and
hot water are added at the top of the brewer. The
piston of the brewer first presses air through the
filter paper to the coffee and the hot water and
after that stops for a few seconds to enhance the
extraction [S1] (adjustable between 0 and 10
sec.). Subsequently, the piston moves down
causing the coffee extract to be drawn through
the filter paper. Before the coffee extract leaves
the brewer, the piston stops again [S2] (also
adjustable between 0 and 10 sec.) to withdraw as
much liquid as possible from the coffee residue.
The filter paper with the coffee residue is
automatically transported to the litter bin, after
which the brewer is ready again for the next
cycle. The piston is then in the resting position
again, just above the outlet opening.
