Options - Backrest
ADJUSTABLE BACKREST
ANGLE
The angle of the backrest can
be set to 6 different positions
(-5° forwards, 0°, 5°, 10°, 15°
and 20° backwards). To adjust
the angle, remove the screw
(1), set the desired angle and
then re-tighten the screw.
(Fig. 26).
By releasing the clamp lever
(1) the backrest height can be
infinitely adjusted from 35 – 50
cm.
FOLDING BACKREST
To flip the backrest up:
To flip the backrest up push the
handles upwards and forwards,
until they click into place.
WARNING!
Keep fingers and other
objects away from the
folding mechanism
when you are folding the
backrest, to avoid
injuries or damage.
Folding the backrest down:
The backrest can be folded
down to make it easier to
transport the wheelchair.
CAUTION!
Do not do this when any load is
applied, as otherwise the lever
could break.
To fold the backrest down, push
the two small levers
(Fig. 27 + 28) on both sides of
the backrest.
RECLINING BACKREST
ANGLE
(7° - 30°)
By pulling both levers together
(1), you can release the
backrest and then move it to
the desired position.
On releasing the two levers (1)
the backrest will automatically
lock into place (Fig. 29).
WARNING!
•
The reclining backrest can only be used in conjunction with the
wheelbase extension.
•
It is recommended that the reclining backrest is used in
conjunction with anti-tip tubes (maximum ground clearance 3-5
cm).
•
We recommend that the reclining backrest is used in conjunction
with a stabilising bar.

ADJUSTABLE BACK
SLING
The adjustable back-sling
can be adjusted for tension
by using several straps.
(Fig. 30).
CAUTION!
Do not pull the tension belt too
tight, otherwise this could
interfere with the folding
mechanism for the chair.

Options – Comfort back
COMFORT BACK
The comfort back permits
comfortable long seating with
lateral support and is height,
depth and angle adjustable.
To remove, push each release
lever (1) forward to unlock.
Once both levers are in the
forward position, simply lift the
back straight up.
To re-attach the back, simply
line up the pins to the receivers
and push into place. If properly
inserted the pins will “click” to a
locked position.
The two locking pins which,
when secured, prevent the
back from being released from
the chair. To lock, insert the
pins into the mounting
receivers. Simply remove the
pins if the quick-release
capability is desired,
(Fig. 31-32).
TRUNK SUPPORT
The trunk support can be
adjusted in angle, depth and
height. It can be swing away
by lifting it upwards, (Fig. 33).
DEPTH ADJUSTMENT:
Remove the 2 screws and fit
the trunk support in the new
position. Finally tighten screws
again.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT:
Open screw, set the trunk
support into the desired angle and tighten the screw again.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT:
Remove the fixing screws of the bracket and move the bracket into
the desired position. Finally tighten the screws again.
