5. If necessary, correct the position of the smartphone* until the desired image section is displayed.
To do this, loosen the fixing screw (S6) on the underside of the holder and move the smartphone
up or down on the rail in the holder.
6. Use the shutter button of the camera app to take a picture of the observation object.
NOTICE! In order to be able to create an image that is as shake-free as possible, we recommend
using a remote control* (e.g. via Bluetooth) for the shutter release process.

15 Before starting an observation
The tube opening and the eyepiece holder are protected by fust protection caps. Remove the protec-
tion caps before starting the observation. Replace cap when storing the it.
16 Observation
DANGER
Risk of blindness!
Never look directly at, or near the sun with this device. There is a RISK OF BLINDNESS!
1. Roughly align the telescope with the desired object (e.g. the moon) and look through the eyepiece.
2. By adjusting the telescope horizontally and vertically, bring the object into the center of the field of
view.
3. The object is magnified through the eyepiece.
4. If necessary, adjust the focus with the focus wheel.
5. By changing from a high focal length eyepiece to a low focal length eyepiece, the magnification
can be increased.

NOTICE
Never take the objective out of its socket and do not modify its adjustment screws.
It is not possible to reinstall the objective in an accurate manner without specialist knowledge. A signi-
ficant reduction of the optical performance is the result. In this case the warranty claims become void!
