INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: It is a good rule to thoroughly clean all parts that come into contact with
food before use.
COOKING AND BLENDING
- Make sure the power cord is not plugged in.
- Take off the boiler cover (fig.1)
- Remove the food bowl and the liquid collector (fig.2-3)
- Pour 60ml or 125 ml of water into the boiler (use the blender container as a measuring
device) (fig. 4)
- Put the ingredients chosen from the recipe book into the food bowl (fig.5)
- If you are following your own recipe, use the blender container first: add the ingre-
dients until reaching about 1,5 cm from the top (as shown), and then pour the
ingredients from the container into the food bowl (watch the mark).
- Put the liquid collector in the boiler (fig.6).
- Put the food bowl in the liquid collector (fig.7).
- Put the cover on the boiler so that the steam vents are at the back (fig.8-9).
- Plug in the power cord (the green light turns on) (fig.10) and press the red button (the red
light turns on) (fig.11) to start steam cooking (fig.12).
NOTE: The first time you use the food processor, the boiler might start when you plug
in the power cord.
- When the red light turns off, steam cooking is finished (fig.13)
- Wait for 2-3 minutes before opening the cover (fig.14)
WARNING: After cooking, the processor is very hot - handle with caution.
- Open the cover (fig.14).
- Remove the food bowl, handling it with caution because it will be hot (fig.15).
- Unscrew and remove the blender unit and put the container on a rigid surface, with the
handle downwards (fig.16-17-18).
- Pour the steamed ingredients into the blender container, adding 3/4 of the cooking liquid
found in the liquid collector (do not use all the cooking liquid at once, but add the rest
later, as necessary, to give the blend the desired thickness) (fig.19-20).
- Close the blender unit, screwing the blade assembly onto the container (fig.21-22).
- Place the assembled container, with the blade assembly downwards, on top of the blender
motor unit (fig.23).
- Press down on the blender container for about 10 seconds (fig.24).
- Pause for 5 seconds.
- Repeat until the blend is of the desired thickness.
- Unplug the power cord (fig.25).
- Remove the container with the blended food, holding it with the handle downwards
(fig.26).
- Unscrew the blade assembly (fig.27).
- Scoop out the teaspoon using the spatula provided (fig.28).
NOTE: Before feeding your child, make sure the food is not too hot.

PRECAUTIONS

Read the instructions carefully before using the Brevi VIVALAPAPPA multifunction food
processor.
2.
Make sure the mains voltage is 230 V before plugging in the power cord.
3.
Make sure the electric system is properly grounded.
4.
Use the food processor only for the intended uses. Any other use should be considered
improper and potentially dangerous. This appliance is intended for home use only.
5.
Connect the processor to an easily accessible power socket.
6.
Place the processor on a flat, stable surface.
7.
Do not, under any circumstances, put the processor on or near hot surfaces, gas rings
or hot plates.
8.
Keep out of the reach of children.
9.
When the boiler is on, the water inside is at boiling temperature and the opening on
the cover releases steam, which can cause scalding.
The boiler, the container and all parts in contact with the steam become very hot:
handle with care and use every precaution to prevent accidents.
It is recommended not to have babies close to the appliance when it is being used.
10. Do not turn on the food processor if there is no water in the boiler.
11. Do not, under any circumstances, dip the food processor in water or any other liquid.
12. Do not use the processor if it becomes damaged.
13. Do not move the processor or open the cover during use.
14. Do not leave the processor exposed to the elements (rain, sunlight, etc.).
15. Unplug the power cord when the processor is not in use.
16. Do not touch the processor with wet or damp hands.
17. If any repairs are needed, contact a qualified technician.
18. In case of faults and/or malfunctions, switch off the food processor, unplug the power
cord and contact your dealer; do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
19. Unplug the power cord after use, without pulling the cord itself or the food processor.
20. Do not leave the food processor unattended during use.
21. Do not leave the processor, its attachments or any packing materials (box, plastic bags,
etc.) within the reach of children, as they may be a source of hazards.
