Lock the power lift bars with the relative chains and pa

rallel idlers on the tractor. This must be done to prevent
the machine from swinging sideways

Start the tractor. Start lifting the machine from the
ground. Turn off the tractor. Remove the keys from the
dashboard.

Set the arms of the tractor power-lift so that the machi

ne is levelled. The blades have to be at the same distan
-
ce from the ground on both sides of the machine.
5.6.2 SETTING LOWER ATTACHMENTS POINTS
•
Remove the spilt pin (1, “Fig. 26”).
•
Take out the pin (3).
•
Take out and rotate at 180°the tractor hitch (2).
•
Insert again the hitch into its seat.
•
Insert the pin (3).
•
Fasten the pin with the spilt pin (1).
The hitch can also be fitted into the hole (4).

5.6.3 INSTALLING THE PTO SHAFT
DANGER
Installing and uninstalling the PTO shaft must always
be done when the tractor is off.
CAUTION
When hitched to the tractor, the machine can only
be operated with the driveline complete with shields
fixed by their chains. Keep well away from the spinning
driveline.
Prevent the shields from turning by means of the rela
-
tive chains and always read the operation and mainte
-
nance manual supplied with the driveline
Only used a PTO shaft marked «CE», equipped with
guards and locking chains.
•
Fit the driveline into the machine’s power take-off and
make sure that it is perfectly locked in the correct po
-
sition.
•
Fit the driveline into the tractor’s power take-off and
make sure that it is perfectly locked in the correct posi
-
tion. Make sure that the shield is free to turn.
•
Fasten the shield with the relative chain. Remove the
support from the driveline (4 Fig. 1) and fix it on the re
-
lative hook.
•
Lift and lower the machine to check if the length of the
PTO shaft is correct.

LOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THE INSTRUCTION
MANUAL OF THE PTO SHAFT.

There is a hydraulic connection on models with hydraulic
setting of the roller position.
