Treadwall Kore Pro Owner’s Manual—2017
General Maintenance
INTRODUCTION
Treadwall® maintenance is easy and requires only lubrica on and cleaning. The most important
maintenance of the Treadwall occurs during the first month of opera on when the drive chain is
stretching to its final length. The drive chain must be ghtened a)er 2
-
3 weeks of use. Instruc ons for
these adjustments are included here.
THEORY OF OPERATION
The Treadwall Kore Pro is completely powered by the climber. The wall does not rotate by itself,
but only when a person begins to climb on the machine. You can vary the speed of climbing with
the lever located on the right side of the machine. This lever controls a hydraulic resistance unit
located at the top of the right channel. The hydraulic resistance mechanism is connected via a
short chain.
The Kore Pro also contains our auto-stop system which is triggered when the weight of the climber
reaches the bo7om of the machine. The Treadwall will not move when someone is standing and
not climbing upwards. The sensor for this system is located at the bo7om right side of the
machine. There is a small switch which closes an electronic valve in the hydraulic system.
The panels slide through the side channels on small plas c bu7ons which help reduce fric on in
the system.. These bu7ons are located on the top front face and the bo7om rear corner of each
panel. Bu7ons only need to be located in these 4 loca ons since the panels twist when weighted
by a person. The panels also contain 7 welded fasteners which allow the climbing holds and
various a7achments to be added in any configura on the user wishes.
The en re center sec on of the wall pivots from the bo7om rear frame to allow for the angle of
the machine to change. This is controlled by a pair of cranks on either side of the Treadwall. The
cranks do not need to be turned simultaneously, but you should level the wall before climbing.
There is also an electronic counter on the right side of the machine that allows users to track
distance, me, and calories. The sensor for this system is located on the inside top of the right
channel. The sensor detects a series of three magnets placed on the main top sha).
