Collector Removal
CAUTION
Do not leave grass in bagger containers. Empty
containers after each use and before storing. Failure
to do so may result in spontaneous combustion which
could develop into a fire.
1. Lift up cover (

, Figure 21), then remove and empty
bags (

).
2. Remove hair pins (
Q
) and hinge pins (

) then remove
cover.
3. Loosen middle tube strap from bagging boot (
AJ
) and
remove middle / upper tube assembly (

).
4. Lift discharge deflector (

). Rotate latch (

) upward on
front of bagging boot.
5. Remove mounting strap (
****
) from rear bracket (
*****
)
and pull bagging boot away from mower.
6. Remove baffle (

).

Storing The Grass Catcher
Clean the grass catcher thoroughly using a mild detergent
(other products may damage the tube). Remove any debris
from the screen on the underside of the lid.
If paint has been scratched on metal parts, touch up with
paint, or apply a thin film of oil to prevent corrosion.
Store in a dry area. Dry thoroughly before storing for a long
period of time. Always store away from moisture.
