SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Always take basic safety precautions when
using electrical appliances to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• This appliance can be used by children from
eight years and upwards and by persons
with physical, sensorial or mental
disabilities, or persons who lack experience
or knowledge, if they are supervised or
receive instructions concerning the safe use
of the appliance and understand the risks
involved with its use. Do not allow children
to play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are more than eight
years old, and are kept under supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its power cord out
of the reach of children under eight years
of age.
• Keep small children under supervision to
make sure they do not play with the
appliance.
• Do not pull the power cord to unplug the
plug. Do not carry or pull the appliance by
the power cord.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance
before cleaning and when it is not in use.
• Do not dismantle the appliance, or
attempt to modify or repair it. The
appliance does not contain any parts that
can be repaired by the user.
• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged
or not working properly, or if the power
cord or plug are damaged. In which case
the appliance must be discarded.
• Discard the appliance if the power cord is
damaged.
• Never use the appliance for anything other
than its intended purpose. The appliance is
only intended for household use.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Always pull out the plug immediately after
use.
• Do not attempt to pick up an appliance
that has been dropped in water. Pull out
the plug immediately.
• Do not use the appliance in the bath or
shower.
• Do not place or store the appliance where
it could fall, or be pulled, into a bath or
washbasin.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
• Do not plug in or unplug the plug while
your feet are in the water.
• Only use accessories and attachments
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised
when switched on.
• Be careful if you are sensitive to heat, or
have a diminished capacity to feel heat.
Stop using the appliance immediately if
water leaks out.
• Check the temperature of the water
before you put your feet in it.
• Do not stand in the container. Sit down
and put your feet in the container.
• Pull out the plug when the appliance is
not in use and when emptying, filling,
and when moving the appliance.
• The appliance cannot heat up cold water.
Fill the container with water at the
required temperature.
• Make sure your hands are dry when using
the control and/or touching the plug.
• The appliance must only be used as it is
intended to be used, and in accordance
with these instructions.
• Keep the power cord away from hot
surfaces.
• Never use the appliance while you are
sleeping, and do not fall asleep when
using it.
• Never poke any objects into the openings in
the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if aerosol
products or oxygen are in use nearby.
• Never use the appliance under a cover,
blanket or cushion. The appliance can
overheat – risk of fire and/or personal
injury.
