Installing  your phone 

Fitting  the  batteries 

warning  Unplug  the  phone  from  the  phone 

socket  before  inserting  or  changing  the 
batteries. 

This  telephone  uses  two  AAA  size,  1.SV 
batteries;  they  enable  the  phone  to  save 

information  in  its  memory  if  it  is  temporarily 
disconnected  from  the  phone  line,  and 

ensures  the  correct  operation  of  the 

telephone  at  all  times

caution  Use  alkaline  batteries  to  avoid  damage 

to  the  phone 

Insert  the  batteries  as  follows: 

Remove  the  plastic  cover  over  the 

memory  index  card,  and  then  remove 
the  memory  index  card. 

Loosen  and  remove  the  screw  to 

remove  the  clear  plastic  battery  cover. 

Insert  the  two  batteries,  ensuring  that 

they  are  correctly  located,  following  the 
diagrams  inside  the  battery 
compartment. 

Replace  the  battery  cover,  screw, 

memory  index  card  and  plastic  cover.
