11.0 Fan Motor Assembly
The Iceberg XQ4 has 4 fan motor assemblies. (Model AR300D3-DF0-07) which run on 48DC
Volts. The assemblies are located on both sides of the Cooler and are also connected to the
ducting outlet connections. There are 2 Fan Power Modules to control the 2 fan motors. Refer to
power supply module Page 7
When the wall control has been turned on in cooling manual mode, the fan motor will be
powered to turn on just as the damper winter seal motor will start to open. When the fan motors
start they will all run on a minimum fan speed, and after 20secs it will then gradually increase till
it’s reached the speed set from the wall control. Once the unit has been turned off the fan motors
drop their speed down to a minimum level and then run for 6min for pad dry time.
The fan wheel can be removed easily from the ducting outlet connection assembly. (See fan
removal 11.1 page 32).
