A steady green Power light indicates the modem is on.  

When this light is flashing yellow, the modem is searching for a DSL signal (attempting

to sync). A steady yellow light indicates the modem is synchronized with your DSL

provider. When this light is flashing green, the modem is attempting to sign in to

EarthLink using PPPoE. A steady green light indicates that your modem has successfully

signed in.

N light indicates that the modem is connected to a computer or network.

N light indicates communication between the modem and your computer.

N light indicates information is being uploaded or downloaded from the

Internet. If the W

N light is not lit, there is no incoming or outgoing information.  The

rear panel contains all of the ports and outlets used to connect your modem.

This outlet provides power to the modem.  

This port transfers data between the modem and your computer. Plug the

Ethernet cable into this port.  

This port transfers data between the modem and the Internet. Plug the tele-

phone cable into this port.  

This resets the modem to its default settings.

The lights on the front panel of your modem provide information about the current

status of your modem including power, local network, and Internet activity.

The rear panel contains all of the ports and outlets used to connect your modem.

Place the modem in an area that has free flow of air to maintain optimal operating temperature.

High frequency electronics such as 900 MHZ telephones, halogen lights and computer monitors can

interfere with your DSL service. Keep these devices away from your UHP DSL modem.

Modem Software Updates: When a modem software update occurs, the power or system light will rapidly

flash indicating the update is in progress. Do not remove power from the modem during the update.
