SPECIFICATIONS / GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Fire damper (horizontal or vertical) for wall or ceiling installation, comprising a duct and galvanized steel components,
30 mm thick shutter from a single sheet of calcium silicate, and suitable gaskets to ensure efficient sealing against
cold and hot fume leaks.
The control unit (manual, motorized or thermally-actuated) is made up of a removable plate that can be replaced
even once the dampers have been installed. This plate accommodates all parts needed for trouble-free operation and
activation of the fire damper. The geometry of the control mechanism, is designed to prevent the pressure in the duct
(up to 500 Pa) from opening the shutter, which can be opened by activating the lever.
The control unit of a properly installed damper must be on the wall plane in order to simplify any
later interventions.
Fire dampers must be installed in accordance with this manual for use with HVAC equipment,  providing a compart-
ment wall between two rooms, and ensuring effective heat insulation and protection against fumes and smoke.

Installers  are  to  satisfy  the  reference  installation  procedures  and  strictly  use  the  materials  described  in  this
manual in order to comply with the same testing conditions as for the test specimens.
Any discrepancy from the instructions given, will entail loss of validity of the product certification and statement
of compliant installation.
