Installing the IRAS-24A Driver with Windows NT 4.0

Removing Remote Access Service

1.

Remove Remote Access Service from your system by 
selecting

Start

Settings

Control Panel

Network

Choose the 

Services

 tab.

Select 

Remote Access Service

 from the list of installed 

network services and click on 

Remove

.

Choose 

Yes

 at the prompt to permanently remove 

RAS from your system.

3.

When the Network dialog box is displayed, click

 

Close

.

Windows NT Setup binds the network protocols and 
displays informational progress messages.

At the Network Settings Change screen, click 

Yes 

to 

reboot your system and finish.

If you wish to uninstall all the files and software 
associated with the Netaccess Comport product, click 

No

 at the Network Settings Change screen and 

continue with “Removing Netaccess Comport Software”.

Removing Netaccess Comport Software

If you wish to remove all Netaccess software and files from 
your system, the Netaccess UninstallShield program must be 
invoked from the Add/Remove icon in the Control Panel.

Before removing all Netaccess Comport Software from your 
system, the installed adapters must first be removed. 
Complete the procedures in “Removing the Installed Adapter 
(Driver) and Modems
” before continuing.
