Step 4
The following steps are to intruct how to install the
anti-tip kit (optional) that came with the unit. To
prevent injury and property damage from unexpected
tipping of furniture we highly recommend installation
of the anti-tip kit.
Attaching furniture to the wall with anti-tip kits:
4.1
Determine where the piece is to be placed and
mark the location on the wall for the mounting bracket
screw holes.
4.2
Drill the hole and use the appropriate wall plug that
is suitable for your walls composition.
Warning:
Before drilling check the wall for hidden
pipes and cables.
4.3
Attach the mounting bracket vertically to the wall
using an appropriate fastener and two wall plugs that
are suitable to your wall and then tightly secure.
4.4
Next using the short screws, attach the second
bracket to the back of the furniture’s top.
4.5
Lace the nylon strap down through the brackets
before sliding the thin end of the strap through the
receiving end on the nylon strap and pulling it tight to
secure the furniture to the wall.

Note that hardware may loosen over time, therefore
periodically check that all connections are tight and
re-tighten as necessary.
