ADVANCED OPERATIONS
Pattern Editing Functions
The pattern editing functions available may differ
depending on the pattern you select. Follow the
instructions in either this section or “Pattern Editing
Functions - Multiple Patterns” on page 44.

Depending on the pattern being used, the
material may not be cut cleanly, if reducing the
size of the pattern. Before making your project,
perform test/trial cut with the same material.

Sizing (Height)
Edit the pattern height while maintaining the aspect
ratio. Touch
or
to adjust the setting. Touch
to edit only the height.

Unlocking the Aspect Ratio
Touch
to edit the pattern size without
maintaining the aspect ratio. The function is available
depending on the pattern you select. If the key is not
available, the aspect ratio is locked and the pattern
can only be edited while maintaining the aspect ratio.

Edit the pattern width while maintaining the aspect
ratio. Touch

to adjust the setting. Touch
to edit only the width.

Duplicating (Pattern Quantity)
Create duplicate(s) of the selected pattern. Touch
or
to specify the pattern quantity.

Re-sizing (% specification)
Touching
changes the size to a 100% display.
Change the size of a pattern while maintaining the
aspect ratio.
Touch either
or
to change the settings.
Touch
again to return to millimeter/inch units.
Setting values that were re-sized with a specified
percentage are recorded as 100%.

Previewing
Display a preview of the edited pattern.
