Use scissors to cut off the end of the
thread that was pulled out. Then, insert
the end of the thread into the red hole,
and while twisting it, guide it through
the cartridge until it comes out at the
bottom of the cartridge.

After the thread is fed out of the
bottom of the cartridge, check that
the thread is hooked over the pin
shown at the right. Then, while
pulling on the thread feeding out
the bottom of the cartridge, close
the cover.

Trim the thread at the bottom of the
cartridge so it is 3/4 to 1” (2 to 3 cm) long.

CAUTION
•
If the thread is not hooked over the pin, the machine cannot embroider.
WARNING
Keep the needle guard cap over the needle while guiding the thread through the cartridge.
If the needle sticks out, it could cause injuries.
