Retype the correct word in the entry area.
Use the
K— I (Backspace), CORRECTION, CODE + CORRECTION,
or
CODE + W OUT (Word Out)
keys to correct the word in the entry
area.

Press the
(Return)
key.
The typewriter automatically replaces the suspected word with the entry
word. The typewriter returns to the last working status.
Sometimes you may not be able to correct the word typed or printed
among the text. The typewriter cannot replace the suspected word with
the selected one if the latter is too long to replace the former. In this
case, the error message appears and cancels the function. The typewriter
returns to the last working status. Retry the replacement.
The ESC key can cancel the function halfway.

Go back to each section that describes the interactive spell, find and
correct, or scan check function. And continue steps.
Add
If the suspected word is proper one, you do not need to correct it. Because the
main dictionary does not contain that word, the typewriter could not find it.
Add the suspected word if you need to add it into the supplemental dictionary.
Next time the typewriter checks the same word, it finds that the word is
correct.
Follow these steps:

Select ADD with the CURSOR keys.

(R eturn) key.
The typewriter adds the suspected word into the supplemental dictionary
and returns to the last working status.
