Note
• For Windows Vista™, when the User Account
Control screen appears, click
Allow
.
• If you want to install the PS driver (Brother’s
BR-Script Driver), choose
Custom setup
and
then follow the on-screen instructions. When the

PS(PostScript Emulation) Driver
, and then
continue following the on-screen instructions.

and check the box
after you confirm this setting, and then click
Next

I’m able to temporarily connect my
device to my access point with a network
cable
and then click
Next
.

For configuration, you must temporarily
connect your Brother wireless device (your
printer) directly to a free port on your access
point, hub or router using a network cable.
When the following screen appears, insert the
network cable to the access point and then to
the printer. Click
Next
.

Choose the printer you wish to configure, and
click
Next
. If the list is blank, check if the
access point and the printer are powered on,
and then click
Refresh
.
Note
The default Node name is “
BRNxxxxxx
” for the
users that temporarily connect with a network
cable, or “
BRWxxxxxx
” for the users that connect
without a network cable (where “
xxxxxx
” are the
last six digits of Ethernet address).
