Setting Cut Options
The tape cutting options allow you to specify how the tape is fed and cut when printing labels.
In particular, the “Chain” option greatly reduce the amount of wasted tape by using smaller
margins and eliminating blank sections cut between labels. Depends on labelling application
type, the setting value is fixed or limited.
Press the
Style
key. The current settings are displayed.
Select "Cut Option" using the or key, and then set the value
by using the or key.
Press the
OK
or
Enter
key to apply the settings.

New settings are NOT applied if you do not press the

key to return to the previous step.
• Refer to the Tape Cutting table for a list of all available settings.

Example
Large
Margin
• Each label is printed, leaving a margin of 24 mm
on each end.
Small
Margin
• A margin of 23 mm is fed before printing each
label. The printed label has a margin of 4 mm
before and after the text.
Chain
• Use this setting when printing several labels with
minimum margins.
• A margin of 23 mm is printed first, and then each
label is printed, leaving a margin of 4 mm before
and after the text.
No Cut
• Use this setting when printing Heat Shrink Tube.
• Pressing the
Shift
key and then the
Preview
key
feeds the last printed label and cut it.
