Octopus brief refill instruction for Brother TN-2410 TN-2420 cartridges
1. Disassemble both cartridge covers
2. On the refill side, detach the gear and
remove the fill hole cap
3. Remove the gear with sealing ring and
dispose the remaining waste toner
4. On the other cartridge end, remove the
large gear from the conveyor system
5. Turn the conveyor gear clockwise in the
position shown below (until you hear a
click inside) and reinstall the large gear
6. Refill the cartridge using the screwable
funnel cap (shake toner bottle before
opening)
7. Close the toner fill hole
8. Attach the new reset gear with the
sealing ring (step 3) in this position
9. Assemble the reset gear, spring and
cover in this position
10. Reinstall both cartridge covers and
check for the right reset lever position
11. Remove the old chip
12. Enlarge the hole on the chip holder and
mount the new chip on the cartridge
