MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Maintenance is very important for
keeping your watercraft in safe op-
erating condition. Proper maintenance
is the owner's responsibility. Perform
periodic checks and follow the mainte-
nance schedule.
WARNING
Failure to properly maintain the
watercraft according to the main-
tenance schedule and procedures
can make it unsafe to operate.
The schedule should be adjusted ac-
cording to operating conditions and
use. Intensive use of watercraft will
require greater frequency of inspec-
tion and maintenance.
This section includes instructions for
basic maintenance procedures. If you
have the necessary mechanical skills
and the required tools, you can per-
form these procedures. If not, see
your authorized Sea-Doo watercrafts
dealer.
Other important items in the mainte-
nance schedule that are more difficult
and require special tools are best per-
formed by your authorized Sea-Doo
watercrafts dealer.
WARNING
Turn off the engine and follow
these
maintenance
procedures
when performing maintenance.
If you do not follow proper main-
tenance procedures you can be
injured by hot parts, moving parts,
electricity, chemicals or other haz-
ards.
WARNING
Should removal of a locking device
(e.g. lock tabs, self-locking fasten-
ers, etc.) be required when un-
dergoing disassembly/assembly,
always replace with a new one.
