Choosing the Language
Type 2239 B is fluent in five languages. Use the procedure
below to choose the language used in the instrument’s display
screen.
1.
If the vibration meter is on, then press
to switch it off.
2.
While the instrument is off, press
and hold it down.
3.
While holding
, press
.
4.
Release both buttons. The instrument does a self-test as
usual and then displays the Set-up Language window.
5.
Press the
and/or
keys until your preferred lan-
guage appears in the window. The choices are (in order):

English
●
Francais
●
Deutsch
●
Italiano
●
Espanol
6.
Press

to choose the language and proceed to
the Measurement Window.
Important
If the Set-up Language window unexpectedly appears when
you start up your instrument (i.e. when you have not pressed
