Docking Lights
Your boat might be equipped with bow docking lights.
These are high-energy lights designed to be used for
short periods of time, usually when you are maneuver-
ing toward or away from a dock.
If you use these lights continuously:
• the lights might lose their adjustment
• the light bulb might fail prematurely
• the light housing might fail
• your batteries might become discharged
Bilge Pumps
The bilge pumps are wired directly to the battery side
of the port engine battery OFF-ON switch. The bilge
pump switches have an uninterruptible power source
that is not affected by the position of the port engine
battery OFF-ON switch.
Your bilge pump system consists of a forward 800 gal-
lon per hour (GPH) and an aft 1500 GPH pump. Each
pump is connected to a float switch that will activate
automatically when water in the bilge reaches a cer-
tain level.
The forward 800 GPH pump is located below the con-
sole. You can access the pump through the forward
Bomar hatch. The pump is mounted below a plastic
sump cover in the floor. The discharge for the forward
bilge pump is located midship on the starboard side.
The aft 1500 GPH pump is located behind the center-
line fuel tank. It can be serviced through an access
hatch in the splashwell. The aft pump discharges on
the starboard side just forward of the transom.
!
CAUTION
Do not use these lights for more than five min-
utes at a time. Follow each period of use with a
cool-down cycle.
