• After taking a strip out, close the vial immediately with its own cap.
• Expired strips should not be used.
• Write the first opening date on the vial: the strips must be used within 120
days after the first opening.
• Do not use damaged strips.
• Read carefully the instruction for use contained in the strips package.
• Take measurements only with original BSICare strips.
• Do not touch the strips with wet or dirty hands.
The BSICare system can use two different ap-
plications:
• BSICare for the blood glucose measurement and
for the management of the glycemic diary.
• BSICare bolus for the blood glucose measure
-
ment, for the management of the glycemic diary
and for the calculation of the bolus insulin sug-
gestion.
