Installing Dial-up
Networking and TCP/IP
Airway Data Sockets use Dial-up Networking and the TCP/IP
protocol to communicate with the Controller. The installation software
will check that these are present and ask you to install them before
continuing with the installation. This section gives guidance on how
to install them and how to set up Windows networking. You will need
your original Windows disks for this.
Installation with Windows 95 and 98
The Airway Data Socket communicates with other devices using
Dial Up Networking.

Follow these steps to check that Dial-Up Networking is
installed. If it isn’t, this shows you how to do it.
