Key-lift interlock
(SAS models)
As long as the engine has stopped, the vehicle is so designed
that the lift will not move down even if so operated.
If the engine should fail to start up for any reason, the lift may be
moved down by unfastening the manual move-down valve
located on the top of the oil control valve.
Note: Once the fork has been moved down with the manual
move-down valve applied, do not fail to fasten the valve and
recover its original condition.
Tilt lever
Tilts the mast forward and backward.
Forward........................Push forward
Backward......................Pull backward
The forward or backward tilting speed can be adjusted by the
degrees of accelerator pedal depression and lever operating
stroke.
Tilt lever knob switch
(SAS models)
With this switch pressed, change tilting from backward to for-
ward and the fork will automatically stop at its horizontal posi-
tion.
It is also possible to slow down the backward tilt speed at a low
lift.
Automatic fork leveling control
With the fork positioned at the backward lift, use the lever to tilt
the fork forward while pressing the tilt lever knob. Then, the mast
can be automatically stopped, with the fork horizontally posi-
tioned. This feature will be conveniently usable to pull in and out
the fork while stacking a load.
Motion upon change of tilt from backward to forward, with tilt
lever knob switch pressed:
