SMART 200 MTC

Parameters related to the article being processed
TARGET:
Amount of yarn (
meters
) to wind.
When the counter reaches the set value, the Stop output is activated
and both LEDs (
red and green
) start flashing on the relevant sensor,
as well as the TARGET label on SMART 200 MTC terminal’s
display.
K-%:
Correction factor (
positive or negative percentage value
) to
compensate possible systematic errors related to the article (
title,
weight, etc..
).
K-MET:
Correction factor (
yarn meters
), to be used only on automatic
machines featuring the “
Auto doffing
” function with automatic
bobbin change and automatic splicing of broken yarn; in other words
it allows subtracting or adding a fixed number of meters to the count
(
depending on the machine operating mode
) upon every stop due to
yarn breakage.
For instance, if the machine discards (
from the bobbin being wound
) an amount equal to 5 meters of yarn, prior to automatically perform
the splicing, then 5 meters will be subtracted to the count for every
breakage occurred.
Parameter related to the article being processed, that affect the
sensor’s detection characteristics
DSTART:
Activation delay.
It defines the minimum image variation frequency above which the
sensor indicates a
stroke
detection. It can be programmed using a
value ranging between 1
(minimum frequency)
and 10
(maximum
frequency)
.
DCOUNT:
Delay during count.
It defines the time interval for which the sensor, after having counted
a stroke, remains forcibly “blind” to avoid false counts. The time
interval count is reset as soon as the sensor detects an image
variation
(it may be programmed between 1 and 100 ms).
DSTOP:
STOP signaling delay.
It defines the sensor reaction time prior to signal a “not running
yarn” condition.
(it may be programmed between 5 and 1000 ms).
SENS:
Sensitivity.
It defines the sensor is sensitivity, programmable with 8 levels
(1÷8)
depending on the yarn type. The suggested values for different yarns
are indicated in the table below:
Very thick yarns
01
Thick yarns
03
Medium yarns
04
Thin yarns
(single
filament yarn)
05
Very thin yarn
(Lycra®)
