RES - M/A Manual/Automatic Counter Reset mode
SETUP
CONFIG
RES-M/A
This function allows you to choose the counter reset mode: i.e. whether the counter
will be automatically reset when reaching the Target, or it will have to be manually
reset by the operator.
RESET MANUAL: Manual Reset carried out by the operator.
When reaching the TARGET, both LEDs (red and green) on the sensor, start
blinking.
To reset the counter the operator must skim for about
one second
the Touch Light.
The red led on and green led off condition indicates that the reset occurred
successfully.
The 1 second time is needed to avoid an undesired counter reset due to accidental
contacts with the sensor.
After having reached the TARGET, the counter will still be incremented if further
strokes occur.
RESET AUTO: Automatic Counter Reset.
When reaching the TARGET, the counter is automatically reset by the next stroke.
This is the mode typically used on automatic machines
The sensor continues to count the strokes until it detects a machine steady
condition (no more strokes).
When the sensor detects a new stroke, it resets the counter and starts again the
count.
NOTE:
See also the RESET function on WORK menu.

programmed correctly
