DAC (Digital/Analog Converter in RS485 ) devices technical
characteristics (option)
The DAC (
Digital / Analog Converter
) devices, can modulate the speed of the machine cylinder, in order to
provide an uniform yarn distribution. They are directly connected to the machine inverter and they supply two
analog output.
The DAC devices generate 2 square wave forms, that can be selected by the SPEED EDIT menu. The high
level signal is the maximum speed rotation of the cylinder (e.g. 500 m/min correspond to 10 V) for a time
defined by the user, while the low level signal indicates a lower speed for another range of time.
