INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. SECURE D SYSTEM
1.TECHNICAL FEATURES
1.1 Power supply: 6 volts (4 batteries type AA, LR6 or equivalent). The batteries included are only for transport purposes, we
suggest that you change them. Alkaline batteries recommended. Watch out carefully for the expiration date of the batteries
before installing them in your safe. Do not use rechargable batteries.
1.2. Variable lenght codes, from 1 to 8 digits.
1.3. Emergency key provided
1.4. Low batteries’ warning system and inside easy access to replacement of batteries.
1.5. External power supply to open your safe in case the batteries are completely discharged.
1.6. Green set-up button to restore the original codes.
2. FIRST USE
2.1. A external power supply, a batteries and a envelope with user keys (DL models), emergency keys and instrucctions provided.
2.2. If your safe is closed, open it with the emergency key (point 5).
2.3. Next, fit the four batteries as indicated on point 7 of this instruction manual.
2.4. Then open and close the safe several times (point 3).
2.5. Change the original codes (point 4).
3. OPENING/CLOSING INSTRUCTIONS
Introduce the key (if your safe has one) and follow the next steps:
Introduce your code number. All safes have the code # 1 2 3 4 # programmed when used for first time. After you press each digit,
there will be a short beep and the number will be showed on the display.
If the code entered was correct, “OPEN” will be read on the display and you will then have 6 seconds to turn the konb or the key,
while this message is on.
To close, push the door, enter the code and turn the konb or the key.
4. PROGRAMMING OR CHANGING THE CODES
A. USER CODE: Every safe has been programmed with the same user code # 1 2 3 4 #. For your security, change it.
A.1. Open the door using the original user code # 1 2 3 4 #. The blue light will turn on and the display will show “OPEN”.
A.2 Press the key “*” while this light stays on and/or the message on the display. You will read “SET C1”.
A.3. Enter the new user code from 1 to 8 digits followed by the key “#”. You will read “INTO”.
A.5. Before closing the door, check the new code.

B. EMERGENCY CODE: All safe have been the same emergency code: # 1 2 3 4 5 6 #. For your security do not forget to
change it.
B.1 Open the door using the original emergency code. The blue light will turn on and the display will show “OPEN”.
B.2. Press the key “*” while this light stays on and/or the message on the display. You will read “SET C2”
B.3. Enter the new emergency code from 1 to 8 digits followed by the key “#”. You will read “INTO”.
B.4. Before closing the door, check the new code.

5. PROGRAMMING TIME AND DATE
To program the time, press “8 8” and enter the hour, the minutes, and the seconds. Press the key “1”, the date is indicated in the
display. To program the date, press “8 8” and enter the year (2 digits), the moth and the day, in this order. You can watch the time
again by pressing “1”.
6. EMERGENCY OPENING
6.1. Two mechanic emergency keys: Take out the emergency lock cover between the knob or the user lock and the keyboard.
Insert the emergency key, turn it. Then turn the konb or the user key, and open the door.
VERY IMPORTANT: Never keep the emergency keys in the safe. There are not spare keys.
6.2. One emergency code to open your safe in case that have forgotten your normal opening code number. Enter your
emergency code number as you usually do with your user code.
6.3 External power supply, to open your safe in case the batteries are completely discharged. To use it, put the external power
supply in the keypad, introduce your code number and open your safe as usual. Do not forget to repleace all four batteries for
new ones, as soon as you have opened your safe.
7. OTHER FEATURES
Incorrect code number: If the code entered that you have entered is not the one programmed before, “ERROR” will appear in the
display.
Bloking system: If incorrect code numbers are entered 3 times, “ALERT” will appear in the display and the safe stay locked. Input
the correct code to release the system.
Low batteries: the system detects whether the batteries are very low. If this is the case, the display will indicate “LO BATTE”
instead of “IN PASS” when you press the key “#” to open the safe.
Replacement of batteries: The bateries’ holder can be found in a compartment inside the door. Once you have removed the
cover, change all FOUR batteries for new ones. “ALREADY” will be read in the display. Check the right functioning of the 2 codes
of the safe before locking it.
Hidden function: If you press “# * ” before inputting the numbers, the display will just indicate “- - - - “ instead the numbers.
Example: # * 1 2 3 4 #.
Set-up button: Press the green button inside the door to restore the original codes. “CLEAR” will be shown on the screen.
