Using the Wand
Use the wand on uneven surfaces such as walls, projector screens, or any surface that may potentially be scratched.
1.
The wand requires 2 x 1.5 V (AAA) batteries. Follow the battery instructions on page 26.
2.
Be sure the projector is between 5' and 11' (1.5 m and 3.35 m) from the display surface. Be sure the camera is
8"–12" (20 cm–30 cm) behind the projector. The wand will not work consistently if the camera is more than 12'
(3.65 m) from the display surface.
3.
The camera needs to see the tip of the wand at all times.
Note:
there is no visible light in the tip of the wand.
Watch that your hand, body, or other objects in the room are not blocking the tip of the wand or the camera.
4.
Gently pull the tip to extend the wand to the desired length.
5.
Press and release the button on the wand to select icons from the toolbar. Press and hold the button when writing.
Note: there is no right-click/control-click functionality with the wand.
