Safety Tips

Stand the appliance on a suitable surface.

A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove any components on this product.
•

• Fire Precautions
• IEE Wiring Regulations
• Building Regulations

DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
•
DO NOT touch the top of the appliance when in use. Surfaces are hot!
•
DO NOT obstruct or cover the appliance in any way when in use.
•
DO NOT use an extension cable to power the appliance.
•
DO NOT handle the bulb with bare hands - wear suitable gloves.
•
Ensure the mains cable does not come into contact with the outer casing of the appliance.
•
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power supply and allow to cool before cleaning or
changing/ removing parts or putting on the cover.
•
Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
•
Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of
local authorities.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified
technician in order to avoid a hazard.
