Shares are the lowest level folders on a TeraStation.
Out of the box, your TeraStation includes a share
named
share
, for your files, and a read-only share
called
info
, which contains software and user
manuals. You may add other shares as desired.
To add a new share to your TeraStation, navigate
to
Shared Folders/Folder Setup
and click
Create
Folder
.
Enter a name for your new share. Other settings
can be changed as desired. You may configure your
new share’s settings manually, or copy the settings
from an existing share. If you want to limit which
users or groups have access to the share, then put a
check next to
Access Restrictions
.
