Adjusting the cover pressure
Tools needed
• 1 open-end spanner size 11
• 1 hexagon socket spanner size 2.5
• 1 hexagon socket spanner size 3
• 1 Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher Gr. 2

1. Rotate the lever (C5) clockwise.
2. Unscrew the countersunk screw (C6) from out of the grip.
3. Remove the grip (C5).
4. Unscrew both of the countersunk screws (C4) from out of the locking cap; remove the
locking cap.
5. Release the screws (C1) and pull back the fuse (C2).
6. Now adjust the thread insert (C7) of the pressure spindle by about 1/6 of a clockwise
turn.
7. Check to see if the cover closes properly. Replace the grip and close the cover. In
doing so, make sure that the thread insert does not twist along. Apply compressed air
to the device.
8. Activate the trigger.
• If the cover is closed correctly, then continue with Step 9.
• If the cover does not close correctly, then repeat the settings as of Point 6.
9. Re-open the cover.
10. After the screw (C1) was set, retighten the fuse (C2).
11. Remove the grip.
12. Replace the locking cap (C3); tighten the screws C4.
13. Assemble the grip; tighten the screw (C6)
If the leakage cannot be eliminated, then the cover gasket must be replaced (see
Section 6.5).
