Prefilters are available for both filter/cartridge PAPRFC4 and PAPRFC5 and are optional in many situations. Prefilters act by helping to block larger particulates
from reaching the main filter, which can help extend the usable life of the filter. The prefilter (PAPRPF2) must be used with the prefilter cover (PAPRPFCOVER2).
