5-2 CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
AND MOUNTING
A. Attach mounting bracket to loader frame using two
3/8” x 5” bolts, flatwasher, lockwashers, and nuts.
(Figure 5-2)
B. Attach tube mount bracket to mounting bracket
with two 3/8” x 1-1/4” bolts, lockwashers and nuts.
C. Attach tube to tube mount bracket using two 3/8”
x 2-1/2” capscrews, flatwasher between bolt head
and slotted hole, lockwashers and nuts.
D. Mount the valve mount bracket to the tube using
the two 5/16” U-bolts, lockwashers and nuts. (Note:
In some applications the tube may have to be short-
ened)
E. Mount the valve to the valve mount bracket. Use
three 5/16” x 1” bolts, flatwashers and lockwashers.
F. Slide the hydraulic hoses from loader through the
hose sleeve.
G. Connect the hydraulic fittings to the valve. Attach
the hoses to the fittings, paying close attention to the
color coding on the hose and the port to which it is
connected.
H. After the hydraulics are properly connected, install
the safety shield using four 1/4” x 3/4” bolts, flat-
washers, lockwasher and nuts. Affix the valve control
decal to the top of shield.
