11.2 Common Bolt Torque Values
Checking Bolt Torque
Unless otherwise indicated, tighten all bolts to the torque
values that are specified in the following tables. Check the
tightness of bolts on a regular basis.
IMPORTANT! Use fasteners of the same grade when
replacing hardware.
IMPORTANT! Torque numbers in the following tables
are for non-greased or non-oiled threads. Do not
grease or oil threads unless indicated otherwise.
When using a thread locker, increase the torque value
by 5%.
NOTE:
Bolt grades are identified by their head
markings.
