Turn off the IR Illumination by rotating the switch to the left - back towards the off position until it cannot be rotated 
any further. 
Power off by rotating the switch to the left until there is a tactile click.

Diopter Focus (fig. 1.5)
For the best possible user experience diopter adjustment must be made.
Holding the monocular up to your eye with the power on, rotate the eyepiece 

(fig. 1.5)

 until the edges of the LED 

display become sharp. 

Objective Focus (fig. 1.2)
Holding the monocular up to your eye with the power on, rotate the front objective lens 

(fig. 1.2)

 until the image in 

the field of view becomes sharp.
Ensure that the subject is at least 3 feet away.
Focus will require adjustment depending on the distance of the subject.
For the best possible user experience keep the objective lens clean and free of lint, oil or dirt. The lens can be cleaned 
with a clean dry lint-free cloth. 
For dried or stuck-on dirt use a lightly moistened lint-free cloth can be used with clean water or a glass / lens cleaning 
solution.
