STARTING
1.
Fill the engine with fuel and oil as per the engine manufacturer’s instructions.
2.
Ensure catcher is fitted correctly (refer to OPERATING PROCEDURE).
3.
Check the height adjustment is set correctly for the mowing conditions you are about to encounter (refer to
OPERATING PROCEDURE).
4.
Start the engine in accordance with the engine manufacturer’s instructions.
5.
Allow the engine to warm up for several minutes.
6.
Run the engine at maximum throttle setting.
7.
NB. Some models may have a fixed throttle. Please refer to the engine owners manual for the configuration
of your machine.
1.
Adjust the throttle control to the slow position.
2.
Switch the engine off.
Allow all moving parts to come to a complete stop before transporting or storing the unit.
