3.4.1 Pen
Replacement
After a period of use, the print quality may deteriorate with lines appearing in the print.
Be sure to follow the maintenance procedures regularly to keep the ink pens in good
shape. If this persistently continues, follow the troubleshooting procedures outlined in
. If this does not solve the problem, then the ink pen should be replaced.
Note:
The ink pen is designed for 8 to 10 refills (about 1 ink cartridge)

Replacing a defective ink pen
1.
Stop the operation of the transport system.
2.
Remove the ink pen by following the instructions cited in section 2.7.2.
3.
Insert a new ink cartridge by following instructions in Section 2.7.1.
4.
Ensure the system is properly activated as outlined in instructions
