2.1 The Base Control Board
The Base Interface Board (BCB) contains the central control circuitry for the BK760 and
BK76IB. In addition, the BCB interfaces with the computer and also handles communication
with upstream and downstream equipment. The BCB is located inside the enclosure at the
rear of the base (rear panel).
Access to the BCB should only be required if the system configuration is changed. This
includes the use of conveyors, upstream and downstream systems, jam sensors, computers,
and feeder enable/disable switches. In order to properly configure the BCB, the DIP switch
settings must be set. The BCB can be seen in
with a description of the proper DIP
switch settings.
