8.4.1 SEARCH OPTIONS
AUTO COMPASS CALIBRATION
System will automatically run the Compass Calibration routine if system fails to lock on satellite
signal. The calibration is accomplished by rotation of 180 degrees on the Azimuth axis.
UNATTENDED MODE
The system will re-acquire satellite signal, if the signal is lost and repoint interval time elapses.
System will not move if antenna is still on signal after the repoint interval time elapses.
SEARCH METHOD
DVB ONLY or OPENAMIP(MODEM) are selectable from the drop down list. DVB will search
directly on DVB-S1 or DVB-S2 carriers. OPENAMIP option will allow the user to base satellite
search and peaking strictly on RF (Modem).
OPENAMIP PORT
The port that the modem uses to establish communication with the 8020 Controller. This field
becomes configurable once OPENAMIP Search Method is enabled.

CONTROLLER IP ADDRESS
The IP address assigned to the iNetVu
®
8020 Controller.

8.4.2 GPS
GPS MODE
FORCE LOCK
–
The system requires the GPS to lock and acquire the Latitude/Longitude
coordinates before proceeding with satellite search.
OVERRIDE - Enables the GPS coordinates to be manually overridden.

If you have overridden the GPS coordinates, they will have to be updated once the
system moves to a new location.
