Thank you for choosing C Dictionary and C-Pen as your translation solution. C Dictionary
with its C-Pen 20 connection will make translation easy and enable you to swiftly scan and
translate any word without losing focus in your reading. C Dictionary’s embedded learning
functionality will also help you learn and remember the meaning of any word. Finally you
may scan text and digits directly to the cursor position in any open application on your PC
with the
Text To Cursor
mode.

Install the Software
Before you connect C-Pen 20 to your PC you must install the software from the CD-
ROM in the C Dictionary box. Do NOT connect C-Pen 20 before the software is installed.
1. Close all open applications on the PC.
2. Insert the CD-ROM in your PC’s CD-ROM drive. The installation program starts
automatically. Follow the instructions on the screen. A message is displayed when the
installation is complete.
3. Plug C-Pen 20 into a USB port on your PC. Follow the instructions on the screen to
install new hardware.
Troubleshooting
If the installation program does not start, click on
Start
in the system tray and select
Run
.
In the
Open
field type
x:\setup
(where the
x
is the letter of your CD-ROM drive). The
installation program should start.
