macOS Installation
1) Install the drivers from
cablematters.com/downloads
2) Reboot your computer after the drivers are installed
3) Connect the cable directly to an available USB port on the computer
Important Notes:
•
Connected devices must be macOS compatible
•
Your device with an RS-232 com port may require additional software from the
manufacturer to connect to the device. Consult the device user instructions.
•
Connect a DB9 Mini Gender changer for equipment with males screws (sold separately)
•
A null modem adapter is required to connect two computers (DTE or DCE devices)
Check that your computer
recognizes the adapter in
the Hardware Menu
