Remove the ash pan (
Detail 17
) from its seat,
empty the ash.
Clean and vacuum any accumulated ash from
inside the burn pot seat (
Detail M
).
Clean the pellet collection hole with a small
brush.
Take note if the flame becomes red, is weak,
or releases black smoke
because it means the burn pot is
encrusted and needs cleaning. Replace when worn (see
paragraph 9.3, page 89, Detail 16
).
Place ash in a metal container with sealed lid. Never let the container come into contact with combustible
material (e.g. on a wooden floor) because the ash stays hot for a long time. Only when the ash has gone
out completely throw it in with organic waste.
Frequency of cleaning depends on the type of pellets.
7.6.
COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANING
Combustion chamber must be cleaned every two weeks (see
Picture 1, page 63
Open the door with the stove off.
Remove and clean the burn pot and the ash
pan (see
).
Remove the internal fire deflector (
Detail 51
),
by lifting it and sliding it towards the opening
of the fire door.
Clean by vacuuming the ash accumulated inside
the combustion chamber.
