Assembly Instructions
Drain Valve Operation (select models only)
The drain valve, located near the bottom rim of the frying pot, allows you to safely and
•
easily drain water/oil from the pot.
BE SURE THAT ANY LIQUID INSIDE OF THE POT IS BELOW 100°F BEFORE DRAIN-
•
ING.
Liquid should primarily be drained into a container before disposal.
•
Place your desired reservoir directly under the drain valve nozzle; be sure that both the
•
reservoir and the fryer are sturdy and not easily tilted.
Turn the black switch on top of the drain valve nozzle 180°F or until a steady flow of liquid
•
is being dispersed from the nozzle into the reservoir.
Close the valve by turning the switch to its original position once all of the liquid has
•
drained.
Some frying oils can be reused within a few days; many people find the drain valve a
•
useful mechanism to direct their frying oil back into its original container to be used at a
later date.
