IX.3.
Forced normal speed digital input (NS=Normal Speed) (DI4)
The forced normal speed external control is used to force the unit to operate in normal speed.
It is active when the contact is closed.
The function has priority if the unit is:

In reduced speed by the timer
-
In reduced speed by the forced reduced speed external control
-
Stopped by the timer.
IX.4.
External stop digital input (DI5)
The external stop control is used to force the unit to shut down.
It is active when the contact is closed.
The function has priority if the unit is:

In reduced or normal speed operation by the timer
o
In forced reduced speed or forced normal speed by external control (digital input)
IX.5.
Fire protection digital input (DI8)
Fire protection digital input makes it possible to force the operation of the unit
regardless the actual setpoint required by the control in a flexible way according to
several options available in the controller.
This function is not actived as standard, it must be configured.
This function needs to use an external NO (normally open) dry contact. The input can
be configured as NC instead of NO if needed.
IX.6.
RS485 Communication (Modbus RTU or Bacnet MS/TP) (P1 port)
The P1 communication port is available for RS485 communication for Modbus RTU and Bacnet MS/TP protocols. It is equipped with
a 4 terminals screw connector.
Use a 2-pairs twisted cross shielded cable such as BELDEN 3106A / 3107A or equivalent in order to ensure efficient data transmission.
It is important to select a cable with a nominal impedance close to 120 Ohms and low capacitance. The data transmission speed will
be dependent on the length of the cable. Data transmission cable must be kept away from power cables and sources that produce
regular current interruption (
contactors, relays, frequency drives, inverters…) to avoid interferences that could affect the quality of
data transmission.
Connect the data wires (twisted pair) to terminals (A) and (B), and the shielding braid to terminal (N). Terminal (E) must remain free.
