Below the descriptions of the features/options of the HPG 335DAB. The numbers between the
“(...)” refer to the key or connections on the unit. The illustrations can be found in the front of this
manual.
Power ON/OFF
• Long press the [
q
] (1) to turn ON.
• Long press [
q
] (1) again to turn OFF (Standby).
Charging battery
When battery power is low, it will prompt with message “Battery Low” to remind for battery
charging. To charge the battery, connect the micro USB plug to the port (

) on the unit, connect
the other end to a power source supplied with 5V output (e.g. suitable adapter, computer/laptop
port).
DAB
+
radio
• Turn ON the radio
• Short press [Mode] (1) to switch between FM and DAB. Choose DAB
• Long press [Scan] (2) to scan all available DAB

radio stations
• Short press [CH- / CH+] (4 / 5) to select another radio station
Making a DAB

preset
• Long press [Menu] (3) to start saving a preset station
• Use the [Rotary dial knob] to select ‘Preset store’ and press [Enter]
• Select the desired preset slot (1 - 30) using the [Rotary dial knob] and press [Enter] to confirm
Recall a preset station
• Short press [Preset]
• Select the desired preset using the [CH- / CH+] and press [Enter] to confirm
Radio station info
• Press [Info] (3) multiple times to show information about the active DAB
+
channel.
The info shown will be: Radio text, Program Type, Ensemble, Station frequency, Data speed,
Signal strength, Power source, Date / time.
FM radio
• Turn ON the radio
• Short press [Mode] (1) to switch between FM and DAB. Choose FM
• Long press [Scan] (2) to scan all available FM radio stations
• As the scan is finished, the list of available radio stations can be found by pressing [Presets]
• Use the [Tune - / Tune +] buttons (4 / 5) to select the desired station and confirm with [Enter]
• Long press [Tune - / Tune +] buttons to scan to the next available FM radio station.
• Short press [Tune - / Tune +] buttons to fine tune with 0.05 MHz at the time.
Radio station info
• Press [Info] (3) multiple times to show information about the active FM channel.
The info shown will be: Radio text, Program Type, Station name, Mono / Stereo, Date / time.
