5 Placement
Put the device on a solid, even, nonslip and shock resistant ground.
A Safety-Area of at least 2.000mm length and at least the devices width behind the treadmill must be
ensured. If the device has a reverse direction mode, the same safety-area has to be guaranteed in the front
of the device.
Maximum users weight is 160kg.
Place the device in dry areas only (<80% humidity, 0° to 45°C ambient temperature).
Ensure that no electro-magnetic radiation of cells, antennas, fluorescent lamps etc. are in range of the
device. They may distort the pulse measuring.
The device should not face direct sunlight.
Ensure that the device does not stand on thick rubber mats. There must be enough space for the surface to
swing.
